Private 5G, answered.
What area does one cell cover?
In the 3800 to 4100 MHz range with good line of sight, expect up to about 600 m for uploads from devices and just over 1 km for downloads. It varies with band, antenna, licence power and the site and we can run an RF simulation for yours.
What speeds can I expect?
With 100 MHz of bandwidth and 4×4 MIMO, the theoretical downlink maximum is 1,500 Mbps (up to 1,200 Mbps seen in good coverage). Uplink-biased, the theoretical maximum is 750 Mbps (600 Mbps seen).
How many cells and devices can it run?
Each portable server supports up to two radios and each 1U rack server up to four. Servers connect under one 5G core, which supports up to 1,000 active devices (enterprise cores up to 10,000).
Can I buy or hire it?
Both. Buy the equipment for a flat fee plus annual software maintenance or hire a network for an event, with equipment and on-site staff on a day rate.
